Supreme Petrochem Ltd. a major player in the styrenic polymer industry, has chosen Hydroservice s.p.a. to supply a hydraulic power pack for use in its new ABS plastic production plant. The power pack, designed to meet stringent dimensional constraints and operate under extreme conditions, was built in collaboration with Bosch Rexroth to ensure reliability and high performance.

The customer needed a hydraulic power unit to drive a hydraulic motor, also supplied and sized by Hydroservice s.p.a. This motor was essential to turn the main plant mixer, a crucial element in ensuring material homogeneity during the production process. The importance of this power unit went beyond simple operation; it had to ensure maximum operational efficiency to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted production process.

The design of the power pack had to consider stringent dimensional constraints, which posed a significant challenge. To ensure high performance and reliability, Hydroservice used advanced technologies and high-quality materials. In order for the mixer to operate properly, it must work accurately. This is the only way to ensure homogeneous distribution of materials, avoiding defects in the final product.

What Hydroservice developed

Hydraulic power unit that can operate under extreme conditions

Hydroservice s.p.a. has designed and supplied a high-performance hydraulic power unit, capable of operating in extreme conditions.

The control unit is intended for installation in India, in an area classified for exposure Zone 2, Group IIB, T4, making it necessary to select components certified according to the Indian CCOE/PESO regulation.

To guarantee the right torque and rotation speed of the mixer, top-of-the-range components with maximum performance levels have been used.

The pumps and hydromotor, selected in collaboration with partner Bosch Rexroth, offer flow rates of 515 l/min at 310 bar, ensuring reliability and excellent performance.
