The needs of the client

A touchscreen control panel to be installed in a limited space

The customer's request was to be able to control the entire dosing package via an operator panel (HMI).

The project presented several critical issues:

Limited space for the installation of the control panel containing the control hardware and the touchscreen panel.
System installation area classified according to ATEX regulations, due to the risk of the formation of potentially explosive atmospheres.
Certification from the system and the electrical panel linked to the country of final installation (Korea)

What Hydroservice has developed

Initial analysis, close collaboration with sub-supply chain

Hydroservice, after an initial phase of analysis of project specifications, customer requests and constraints imposed by the Country of destination, began a close collaboration with the entire sub-supply chain for the selection of the main materials, hardware components and for the study of the external layout of the electrical equipment.

The result

Requirements and regulations are respected and satisfied

An electrical control panel that fully meets all the requirements imposed by the project and by the regulations in force in the Country of installation (also based on the danger of explosion). This control panel integrates perfectly within the Process Skid.
